In the Social Venture Co-creation program, teams of Japanese professionals work in partnership with social ventures in emerging economies to co-create solutions to their management and business development challenges over the course of three months. The teams not only hold discussions, but also visit the countries that these ventures are based in, and dive into the management and business operation of the venture. Co-producers and the members of the social ventures work in collaboration and implement a project.
With the concept of “Co-creation” at its core, the program provides an opportunity for social ventures to obtain professional project teams with passion to co-create. Past programs resulted in delivering and co-creating important outputs such as strategy for a new business, crowd fundraising, program evaluation and creating a management matrix. For the co-producers, this program is a chance to take a deep dive into the work of a social venture, and develop their interpersonal and professional capacities.
