We have a wide range of experiences living and working abroad, including in Myanmar, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Sudan, Ecuador, the USA and the UK.
We form tailor-made project teams for a business or project for the most impact. For example, in the business incubation phase, we form a team with expertise in business model formulation, local research and relationship building. In the execution phase, we form a team with expertise in idea/concept realization, project management, partnership-building, and social impact management.
Hideki has extensive experience in business development and operations in overseas markets through his work at Yanmar Co., Ltd, and Yanmar America, a world-leading manufacturer of diesel engine and agricultural machinery. He brings a wealth of creative insight in international development from his experiences living or working in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Myanmar, Pakistan, and the Philippines. Hideki holds an MBA from University of Oxford, in the United Kingdom, a Post-graduate Diploma of Development Studies from the Institute of Developing Economies Advanced School, IDE-JETRO, Chiba, Japan, and a Bachelor of Arts from the International Christian University in Tokyo.

Atsushi has extensive experience in trade and market research through his work at the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). He is experienced in supporting the expansion of Japanese businesses overseas, especially through his position as a Director of Research at the JETRO New York Office from 2014 to 2019. Atsushi holds a Master’s Degree in Political Economy from the Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Tokyo, a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Aichi Sangyo University and a Bachelor’s in Political Economy from the International Christian University in Tokyo. Atsushi is excited to help build a society where each individual’s potential can be realized.

Emiko possesses rich experience and knowledge in both the private and the public sectors. After her career at a financial company (asset management) as a marketing group manager in Tokyo, she transitioned to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) where she managed public-private partnership projects focusing on BOP/inclusive business and business projects related to the Sustainable Development Goals. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Development Policy from Duke University in North Carolina, USA, a Post-graduate Diploma of Development Studies from the Institute of Developing Economies Advanced School, IDE-JETRO in Chiba, Japan, and an BA from Sophia University in Tokyo. Emiko is passionate about connecting businesses, finance and social issues through impact investing and evaluations.
